Purgation Therapy

That process of purification where the excited and vitiated humours, predominantly the pitta humour is removed from the lower part of the body through purgation. Purgation is induced by herbal purging substances for the purpose of eliminating vitiated pitta and to clear excess Kapha from the stomach.
