It's also called as Leech Therapy, since the process is carried out with the help of non poisonous leeches. This is a direct treatment for Dhatu (Blood or Raktha), hence different from other panchakarma procedures which is the direct treatment for Doshas.

Skin diseases, Migraine and any diseases due to impurity of blood.
